ABOUT ME
My background in documentary photography and newspaper journalism has given me an eye for capturing people naturally in their environment. In addition to years of experience and a robust skillset, I love people and enjoy making them feel relaxed, happy and comfortable during a shoot. It shows in my images, from a surgeon in the operating room to a young camper catching their first fish. I feel like the gift I have to offer the world is capturing moments that make us human.
Besides my love for people and shooting images, I'm also a mom to two great young men, Atticus & Phoenix, and partner to my supportive and kind husband, Matt. They bring my life much sunshine. Most mornings one may find me rowing on the Huron River with the Ann Arbor Rowing Club. It's one of my great passions. I find it's much like photography: meditative, energetic and joyous.
